JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA-Pedavegi, W.G Dist., 

      Pisa school of excellence in CBSE board and employs ‘Learning by doing’ strategy to make the students comprehend the concepts by experiencing. Our education system aims at holistic development of the students, winch enables individuals to emerge as learned, skilled, emotionally and socially balanced rational beings. To achieve this aim, & systematic approach to incorporate all the vital components of child’s learning (such as Curricular, Co-curricular, extra-curricular, cultural, social and emotional aspects) are taken into consideration in the Pedagogical plan. We strive to balance between the academic as well as behavioral goals and at the same time equip our Students with 21%  century skills. An understanding of the CBSE vision, identifying with the NVS vision, a clear perspective of our own role and responsibility as well as thorough and regular study of CBSE guidelines, curriculum, manuals and circulars issued over a period of time formed the basis for this comprehensive plan which involved efforts of a large number of our staff members

MISSION STATEMENT

 

          Developing the school’s Vision and Mission -   are two of the most important steps towards creating a successful school.  Done well, they give clarity and direction for a school. It involves defining the core values needed for the rapidly changing society. It ensures students’ develop the skills that a sound Education, including the competencies essential for a successful life, is aimed at.

 

In the expedition to achieve our mission, we train the teachers to  equip themselves with the necessary skills  for helping the students’ develop their Physical, Mental, Intellectual, Moral, Communicative,  Linguistic aspects; and also enable the children imbibe the attitude of National Integration through an established Migration Policy, adopting the three language formula.

 

         Apart from the Curriculum, the students will be made to learn through participation in Co-curricular activities, which are aimed at improving their Communicational skills, Leadership qualities and Self-Confidence.

 

         The school focusses on imparting the strategy of ‘Learning by doing’/Activity based Learning through the well-established laboratories. By integrating I T through Samsung Smart classes and also to assist the students to conceptualize the ideas, critical and analytical thinking is encouraged (focusing on the PISA based questions).  The students are highly insisted to avoid memorizing the lessons.

 

         The team of Art, Music, Physical Education and librarian will guide the children along with the regular subject teachers by incorporating various activities. 

    Our aim is to provide excellent educational experiences, predominantly for rural talented, free of cost and to promote respect and tolerance for all.  With the help of the Vidyalaya Management Committee headed by Dist. Collector, Parent Teacher Council, and NVS (regularly monitoring and guiding) the Vidyalaya is committed to work and mold the child as a successful individual.  With the strong involvement of dedicated councilors, emphasis is laid upon the Psychological development of the child (an important aspect in a Co-residential school).

 

        The modern facilities being developed will enhance our stimulating Learning environment and Innovative Teaching, spread in 30 acres green campus equipping them with all needed Life Skills.

Long Term Goals:

     Shaping the child into a self-directing matured adult - filled with core values, committed to the service of the society, respecting the opposite gender with a broad mind set for promoting National Integration is the underlying philosophy.

To mold a child learn effective - Time management, dignity of labor , respect towards the weaker sections of the society, respect for the people and property  and to live in harmony with Natural Environment by protecting and promoting it to fit into the society and into the Nation.

 

The 21^st century skills includes development of critical and analytical skills, effective communication skills, strong emotional quotient and mastery over all Life skills and with an adaptability towards the changing technology
